The Erlkings, a new drama about Columbine High School killers Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, will play The Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row from November 9 through December 13. Penned by Nathaniel Sam Shapiro, the play is directed by Saheem Ali.

Named for a German poem found in a journal of Eric Harris, The Erlkings recounts the days leading up to the Columbine murders. Taken from public record and personal journals, Shapiro weaves together scenes from the lives of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold as they plan one of the most horrific killing sprees in U.S. history.

The company is led by Em Grosland as Eric Harris and James Scully as Dylan Klebold, along with Blair Baker, Matthew Bretschneider, Jonathan Iglesias, Reynaldo Piniella, and Kayla Wickes. The creative team includes scenic designed Doss Freel, costume designer Lux Haac, lighting designer Katy Atwell, and composer Michael Thurber.
