Full casting has been announced for TACT/The Actors Company Theatre's revival of Beth Henley's 1990 drama Abundance. Directed by coartistic director Jenn Thompson, the production begins performances February 17 at The Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row. Opening night is set for March 1, with a closing date of March 28.

In Abundance, two mail-order brides are lured to the plains of Wyoming by the promise of new beginnings. As wild and unpredictable as the untamed West itself, their adventure spans 25 years, unearthing along the way the dark underside of American mythology and the unbreakable bonds of female friendship.

The cast is made up of Kelly McAndrew, Tracy Middendorf, Jeff Talbott, Todd Lawson, and Ted Koch. The creative team comprises Wilson Chin (sets), Tracy Christensen (costumes), Philip Rosenberg (lights), and Toby Algya (sound). Erin Gioia Albrecht is production stage manager, and Kelly Burns is assistant stage manager.

Abundance premiered at South Coast Repertory in 1989 before moving to Manhattan Theatre Club, where it played 52 performances. TACT’s production will be the first time that the play has been seen in New York in 25 years.
