Tony Winner Rita Moreno to Interview Gloria and Emilio Estefan at 92Y

92Y has announced the theater-related events scheduled for its fall season.
Kicking off the season will be an evening with actor, advocate, and Internet personality George Takei on September 20. The performer will discuss how his story has become the inspiration for Allegiance, a new Broadway musical in which Takei also stars, as he talks with Jujamcyn Theaters president and owner Jordan Roth.
Other events will include a dialogue about theater between Tony Vellela and James Naughton on October 12; an interview with Gloria and Emilio Estefan about their new Broadway musical On Your Feet!, moderated by show-business legend Rita Moreno on October 19; and a conversation with Broadway's Nathan Lane (It's Only a Play) on November 18. In addition to his talk, Lane is set to participate in a signing of his new picture book, Naughty Mabel, to be released this fall, along with cowriter Devlin Elliott.
The final scheduled fall event will be a conversation with Judith Light on December 14 to talk about her latest role as the ex-wife of Mort/Maura in Amazon Prime’s groundbreaking series Transparent. Light will look at how her new series "reflects the landscape we’re living in" as well as her career playing various remarkable women.
