Patti LuPone: Matters of the Heart to Be Re-Issued on Broadway Records

The two-time Tony winner’s concert album will be reissued in September.

Broadway Records has announced the official release of the re-issue of Patti LuPone: Matters of the Heart. The CD will be available for purchase on the Broadway Records website and through major retailers including Amazon and iTunes on September 18th, and is now available for pre-order here.

"We couldn’t be more excited that our first ever reissue is with the legendary Patti LuPone," said Broadway Records founder, Van Dean. "Not only does this continue our relationship with Patti, but it also allows the relationship with her fans to grow as this is the first time the album will be available digitally."

Matters of the Heart is a studio recording of two-time Tony winner Patti LuPone's acclaimed concert, one of two solo concerts she has performed on Broadway. The actress premiered Matters of the Heart in New York at Lincoln Center Theater in 2000, and has performed it extensively on tour throughout the United States as well as in London and Australia. The album, which explores themes of love and relationships, features classic songs by Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Frank Wildhorn, Randy Newman, Stephen Flaherty, and more.

LuPone current stars in Shows for Days at Lincoln Center's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater.
