Mandy Patinkin, Lance Horne, and More to Join Alan Cumming in Honoring Claire Danes

PS122’s Spring Gala will also celebrate the organization’s return to its newly renovated East Village building.

P.S. 122 has announced that its 2015 spring gala, hosted by Alan Cumming (Cabaret), will feature remarks by stage and screen legend Mandy Patinkin, as well as performances by Peaches, cabaret artist Meow Meow, playwright Edgar Oliver, choreographer Faye Driscoll, and a house band led by renowned musician Lance Horne. The event, which will honor actor and dancer Claire Danes, will take place on April 20 at Capitale.

The evening will feature cocktails with AndrewAndrew, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction, followed by dinner, performances, presentations, and a live auction conducted by powerhouse auctioneer C.K. Swett. Dinner and dessert will be designed by Prune chef and author Gabrielle Hamilton. Honoree awards are provided by Swarovski.

Claire Danes' history of performing at P.S. 122 includes her 1985 debut at the age of six. P.S. 122 also presented her critically acclaimed dance pieces in 2005 and 2007.

The event will also celebrate P.S. 122's anticipated return to its newly renovated East Village building, the organization's home for over 30 years. In addition, City Council Majority Leader Jimmy Van Bramer will be presented with Shining Star Award.
