Celia Keenan-Bolger Opens in Sarah Ruhl's The Oldest Boy at Lincoln Center Theater

Directed by Rebecca Taichman, the play stars James Yaegashi and Ernest Abuba.

The Oldest Boy, a new play by Sarah Ruhl, opened at Lincoln Center Theater's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater on Monday, November 3. Directed by Rebecca Taichman, the production stars Celia Keenan-Bolger and James Yaegashi as parents who discover that their three-year-old son may be the reincarnation of a high Buddhist lama. They are joined by Ernest Abuba, Tsering Dorjee, Takemi Kitamura, James Saito, Jon Norman Schneider, and Nami Yamamoto.

Taichman's production features scenic design by Mimi Lien, costume design by Anita Yavich, lighting design by Japhy Weideman, sound design by Darron L. West, puppet design and direction by Matt Acheson, and choreography by Barney O'Hanlon. Charles M. Turner III serves as stage manager. The drama is scheduled to play through December 28.
