2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival Announces Additional Titles

The New York Musical Theatre Festival has released a list of 10 additional productions joining the lineup for the 2015 season, running from July 7-27.

Newly announced titles include Passing By by Patrick Thompson and Summer Valley Fair by Dylan Fredrick.

Staged readings include Balloon Boy: The Musical by Billy Recce; Daughter of the Waves by Eileen Connolly and Kat Blackwood; Day of Wrath by Eric B. Sirota; Illa, a Hip Hop Musical by Ronvé O'Daniel and Jevares C. Myrick; Into the Sun by Michael Gubser and Paolo Prandoni; Rails by Tom Kenaston and Tom Paitson Kelly; Scarlet by Michelle Horgen; The Gold by Andrea Lepcio and Philip Yosowitz; The Guide to Being Single by Kaitlin Gilgenbach and Alexi Kovin; The Runaway Clone by Pam Eberhardt and Jonathan Brenne; and Windywoo and Her Naughty Naughty Pets by Wendy Ann Gardner.

They join previously announced selections Acappella, music and lyrics by the Acappella Company and a book by Vynnie Meli with Greg Cooper; Claudio Quest, book, music, and lyrics by Drew Fornarola and Marshall Pailet; Headvoice, book, music, and lyrics by Ethan Andersen; Held Momentarily, book, music, and lyrics by Oliver Houser with additional material by James Zebooker; Moses Man, book and lyrics by Deborah Haber and music by Casey Filiaci; Napoleon, book, music, and lyrics by Andrew Sabiston and Timothy Williams; Real Men, a Musical for Guys and the Women Who Put Up With Them, book, music, and lyrics by Paul Louis and Nick Santa Maria; Songs for the Fallen, music and lyrics by Sheridan Harbridge and Basil Hogios, and a book by Sheridan Harbridge; Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera, book and lyrics by Elizabeth Searle, and music by Michael Teoli; and Wearing Black, book, music, and lyrics by Riley Thomas.

Casting, venues, and performance schedules will be announced at a later date.
