Idle leads the cast, along with Tony winner Victoria Clark (The Light in the Piazza), Tony nominees Marc Kudisch (Hand to God) and Lauren Worsham (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), and opera tenor William Ferguson. Not the Messiah is a spoof on Handel's Messiah that features a pastiche of musical styles ranging from pop, country, and Broadway to doo-wop, hip-hop, and Greek chorus.
