Cynthia Nixon, Mary-Louise Parker, and David Hyde Pierce to Honor Director Daniel Sullivan at MTC Benefit

The event will also feature appearances by Danny Burstein, Raúl Esparza, Boyd Gaines, and others.

Manhattan Theatre Club's will honor longtime MTC collaborator and Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan at its annual fall benefit on November 10. The event will be held at The Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall.

The evening will feature appearances by Broadway favorites such as Danny Burstein (Cabaret), Raúl Esparza (The Homecoming), Boyd Gaines (The Columnist), Heather MacRae (A Catered Affair), Frances McDormand (Good People), Cynthia Nixon (The Real Thing), Jack O’Brien (It's Only a Play), Mary-Louise Parker (Proof), and David Hyde Pierce (Accent on Youth). Richard Maltby Jr. (Ain’t Misbehavin'), who helped conceive the event, will direct.

The creative team will include John Lee Beatty, Japhy Weideman, and Dan Gerhard. Fiona Kirk, Bethany Millard, Sue Slager, Sharon Sullivan, and Lisa Towbin are cochairs of the event.

Sullivan, a Tony Award winner for Proof, and has enjoyed a long relationship with Manhattan Theatre Club. This season at MTC, Sullivan is directing Donald Margulies’ The Country House on Broadway at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre and David Auburn’s Lost Lake at MTC’s off-Broadway home at New York City Center – Stage I. His other MTC credits include The Snow Geese, The Columnist, Good People, Time Stands Still, and more.
