Laura Osnes, Montego Glover, and More Join 2016 New York Pops Gala

The event will salute the composers of ”Miss Saigon” and ”Les Misérables”.

Further casting has been announced for the upcoming New York Pops tribute concert honoring Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, the legendary songwriting team behind Miss Saigon and Les Misérables. The show, set to play Carnegie Hall on May 2, is co-chaired by Sir Cameron Mackintosh and two-time Tony winner Patti LuPone.

Newly announced for the roster are Laura Osnes (The Bandstand), Kyle Scatliffe (The Color Purple), Montego Glover (The Royale), Robert Marien, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Fully Committed). They join LuPone, Stephanie J. Block (The Mystery of Edwin Drood), West End star Jon Jon Briones (Miss Saigon), Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, Supergirl), Norm Lewis (The Phantom of the Opera), Eva Noblezada (Miss Saigon), John Owen-Jones (Les Misérables), Hugh Panaro (The Phantom of the Opera), Tony winner Lea Salonga (Allegiance), and Marie Zamora (Les Misérables). The concert will also feature Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA, as well as students from the New York Pops' Kids on Stage music education program and Camp Broadway Kids. Additional artists will be announced at a later date.

Music Director Steven Reineke conducts the performance. Following the concert, a black-tie dinner dance will be held at the elegant Mandarin Oriental New York.
