Watch the Wintery New Promo for Fox's A Christmas Story Live!

The Pasek and Paul musical is on its way to the small screen.

Fox has released a new video promo for A Christmas Story Live!, a three-hour live television event, inspired by the holiday classic feature A Christmas Story and Benj Pasek and Justin Paul's Tony Award-nominated Broadway production A Christmas Story: The Musical.

The show is set to air December 17, with Scott Ellis (She Loves Me) as executive producer and the director overseeing the stage direction. Marc Platt and Adam Siegel will executive-produce, with Jonathan Tolins and Robert Cary serving as coexecutive producers and writers.

As previously announced, Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski (She Loves Me) will play Miss Shields, and Emmy nominee Chris Diamantopoulos (Waitress) will play the Old Man. They join a company that includes Andy Walken as Ralphie, Maya Rudolph as Ralphie's mother, and two-time Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick, who will play the narrator.
