Chris McCarrell and Matt Rosell to Take Over Role of Marius in Broadway's Les Misérables

Chris McCarrell and Matt Rosell, two ensemble members in Les Misérables on Broadway, will step into the role of Marius while Andy Mientus takes a break from performances, according to reports. McCarrell and Rosell both currently understudy the role of Marius.
Mientus will be on hiatus from October 23-November 19 while he films two episodes of The CW's The Flash. McCarrell (upcoming Peter Pan Live!) will take on the role from October 23-November 2, and Rosell will take over from November 4-18.
The current revival of the epic Claude-Michel Schönberg/Alain Boublil musical opened at the Imperial Theatre on March 23, earning three Tony nominations, including Best Revival of a Musical.
The cast features Tony nominee Ramin Karimloo as Jean Valjean, Caissie Levy as Fantine, Tony winner Nikki M. James as Éponine, Samantha Hill as Cosette, Cliff Saunders as Thénardier, and Tony nominee Keala Settle as Madame Thénardier.
The Flash is based on the DC Comics character Flash, a superhero crime-fighter with the power to move at superhuman speeds. Mientus will play the role of DC Comics villain Pied Piper.
