Finding Neverland's Matthew Morrison has been tapped to sing the national anthem at the final game of the first leg of the 2015 Subway Series. The game is scheduled for Sunday, April 26, beginning at 8pm at Yankee Stadium. The annual six-game face-off between the Yankees and the Mets will be broadcast live on ESPN.

Morrison, best known for his starring role on the hit Fox series Glee, stars as Peter Pan creator J.M. Barrie in the musical adaptation of the 2004 Harvey Weinstein film, now running at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Featuring a score by Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy and a book by James Graham, Finding Neverland explores the friendship of playwright J.M. Barrie and Sylvia Llewelyn Davies, a widowed mother whose four boys inspired the beloved Peter Pan stories.

Directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus, the cast also stars Kelsey Grammer (Charles Frohman), Laura Michelle Kelly (Sylvia Llewelyn Davies), and Carolee Carmello (Mrs. Du Maurier). The production celebrated its official Broadway opening on April 15 and will launch its U.S. tour in upstate New York on October 7, 2016.
