Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s stage musical Mary Poppins is now available for school and amateur licensing exclusively through Music Theatre International. Based on P.L. Travers' original stories and the classic 1964 Walt Disney film Mary Poppins includes the film’s Academy Award-winning music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman.

Mary Poppins was created, in collaboration with Cameron Mackintosh, by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Julian Fellowes, who wrote the book, Olivier Award-winning director Richard Eyre, and the Olivier Award-winning team of George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, who composed new songs and additional music and lyrics. It opened in London in 2004. The Tony Award-winning Broadway production ran for more than six years at the New Amsterdam Theatre.

Resources available for Mary Poppins licensees include recorded orchestra tracks, a choreography manual and DVD with instructions on how to re-create original Broadway dances by Matthew Bourne and Stephen Mear, a production handbook, and two orchestration options.
