Marilyn Maye Will Celebrate New Year's Eve at the Metropolitan Room

The cabaret singer rings in 2015 in style.

Cabaret legend Marilyn Maye will welcome 2015 with a series of new concerts at the Metropolitan Room.

Titled Marilyn by Request, the concerts feature Maye performing songs that the audience suggests. The concerts will run January 2-4 and 7-10 at 7pm. A pair of New Year's Eve concerts on December 31, called The Biggest Party Ever, will take place at at 7:30pm and 10pm.

Maye made numerous recordings with RCA during the 1960s, after which she has had a highly successful career as a cabaret artist. She has also appeared on the stage in musicals such as Hello, Dolly! and Can-Can. A "Best New Artist" Grammy nominee of 1965, Maye returned to the New York stage in October 2006 following a 15-year absence, and for the past several years she has received the "Celebrity Artist of the Year" award from the MAC Association.

Maye is joined by pianist/conductor Billy Stritch, bassist Tom Hubbard, and drummer Ray Marchica.
