Manhattan Theatre Club has announced a final extension for the world premiere of Tony Award winner Simon Stephens' new off-Broadway play Heisenberg. The production's run will now last through July 18 at New York City Center – Stage II.

Directed by Mark Brokaw, Heisenberg follows a woman who kisses an older man at a London train station, resulting in life-changing consequences. Tony and Emmy winner Mary-Louise Parker stars opposite Denis Arndt. The production began performances May 19 in advance of a June 3 opening.

The creative team for Heisenberg includes Mark Wendland (scenic design), Michael Krass (costume design), Donald Holder (lighting design), and David Van Tieghem (original music & sound design).

Stephens is currently represented on Broadway by the 2015 Tony Award-winning Best Play The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. His other works also include Punk Rock, Bluebird, and Harper Regan.
