Lauren Worsham, a Drama Desk-winning star of Broadway's Tony-winning A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, will play her final performance at the Walter Kerr Theatre as Phoebe D'Ysquith on October 26. Original cast member Catherine Walker will take over the role beginning October 28. Sandra DeNise will join the company to take over Walker's current role of Miss Barley.

Walker made her Broadway debut in 2006 in the original cast of Disney's Mary Poppins, understudying the title role, and leading the cast for over 100 performances as Broadway's second Mary. In 2009, she left the production to join the cast of the Broadway revival of Ragtime. Her regional credits also include The Sound of Music, Anything Goes, Gypsy, The Phantom of the Opera, Carousel, Show Boat, and Brigadoon.

DeNise joins the Gentleman's Guide cast straight from the company of another Tony-winning musical, Kinky Boots. Her additional stage credits include touring productions of Jersey Boys, Hairspray, Shrek, Parade, and Saturday Night Fever.

A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder tells the story of Monty Navarro (Bryce Pinkham), who has received the news that he is descended from a noble family and could become the next Earl of Highhurst. There are only eight issues standing in his way: the other heirs (all played by Jefferson Mays) who precede him in line for the title. What does Monty choose to do? Eliminate them, of course. The production features a book and lyrics by Robert L. Freedman and music and lyrics by Steven Lutvak.
