Roundabout Theatre Company has announced a one-night benefit concert of Kiss Me, Kate to take place December 12 at Studio 54. Broadway favorites Kelli O’Hara (The King and I) and Will Chase (Something Rotten!) will star, with Roundabout’s Associate Artistic Director Scott Ellis (She Loves Me) directing.

Written by Sam and Bella Spewack with music and lyrics by Cole Porter, Kiss Me, Kate earned the first-ever Tony Award for Best Musical. In the musical, the warring lovers of The Taming of the Shrew are causing trouble both onstage and off. While putting on a musical version of Shakespeare's play, exes Fred Graham and Lili Vanessi can't decide if they're enraged, enamored, or enormously confused whenever they cross paths out of character.

Proceeds from the concert will support Roundabout Theatre Company's many programs and initiatives, including the Musical Theatre Fund.

Additional cast members and creative team will be announced soon.
