The cast and creative team of Arena Stage's world premiere of The Blood Quilt, by Olivier Award-winning playwright Katori Hall, gathered today for a meet-and-greet event. The production, which runs from April 24-June 7 in the Kreeger Theater, reunites Hall with director Kamilah Forbes, following their Broadway collaboration on The Mountaintop.

The Blood Quilt tells the story of four disconnected sisters who gather at their childhood island home off the coast of Georgia to create a family quilt to honor their recently deceased mother. When their reunion turns into a reading of their mother's will, everyone must grapple with a troubling inheritance.

The cast features Tonye Patano, Caroline Clay, Nikiya Mathis, Meeya Davis, and Afi Bijou.
