A pair of one-act comedies by George Bernard Shaw, The Fascinating Foundling and Augustus Does His Bit, are next on the list for Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw series. Under the leadership of artistic director David Staller, the readings will take place on April 25 at Symphony Space‘s Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre.

Written in 1909, The Fascinating Foundling brings two foundlings together, whether they like it or not. Augustus Does His Bit, written in 1916, pits a female spy against British male bureaucracy.

The company for the readings includes Malcolm Gets (Allegro), Ed Dixon (Anything Goes), Daniel Jenkins (Mary Poppins), and Karen Ziemba (Bullets Over Broadway).

Now celebrating its 11th year, Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw made history in December 2009 as the first company ever to present performances of every one of Shaw's 65 plays.
