The French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) will present the New York premiere of Justin Vivian Bond's Love Is Crazy on Thursday, September 25, at 7:30pm at the Florence Gould Hall as part of FIAF's Crossing the Line festival.

Love Is Crazy, which premiered in Paris earlier this year in celebration of St. Valentine's Day, comprises original songs from Bond's records Dendrophile and Silver Wells along with songs associated with Bond's stage and film appearances, including John Cameron Mitchell's Short Bus. Bond will be joined by Nathann Carrera on guitar, Claudia Chopek on violin, and special guest Miguel Gutierrez, a Brooklyn-based artist.

Bond has appeared in more than 70 shows at Joe's Pub and has recorded critically acclaimed records in addition to playing the role of Kiki in the Tony-nominated show Kiki & Herb: Alive on Broadway.
