The Broadway League has announced that two-time Tony Award winner Judith Light (The Assembled Parties) will serve as the 2015 Kids' Night on Broadway National Ambassador. The annual event, which will take place from January 9-15, 2015, allows children aged 6 to 18 the chance to see a Broadway show for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult.

"Broadway has always been and always will be such an important part of my life," said Judith Light in a statement. "I love the magic that happens on the stage, the joy of bringing unique and creative stories to life, and the opportunity to participate in such a welcoming, friendly community that shares a deep passion for the art of theater."

Kids' Night on Broadway will take place in multiple cities around the country, including New York. Participating Broadway shows include Aladdin, Wicked, and If/Then, among others. Tickets to participating shows will be available on November 5.
