The New York International Fringe Festival and CitySalt Theatricals will present The Crack in the Ceiling from August 15 to August 28 at the Lynn Redgrave Theater. Created and written by James Harvey, Stephen Tyler Davis will direct the dark musical comedy.

The Crack in the Ceiling will feature current Broadway star Josh Grisetti (It Shoulda Been You). The play follows Ellen, a distraught single mother, who discovers a crack in her kitchen ceiling that no one seems able to repair. As a bizarre series of handymen, plumbers, and spiritual healers try to solve the problem, Ellen finds that more than her home is at risk. The Crack in the Ceiling premiered at the 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Josh Grisetti earned a Drama Desk nomination for his role in It Shoulda Been You. His other Broadway and off-Broadway credits include Broadway Bound and Enter Laughing.
