Idina Menzel Will Embark on a World Tour

The ”If/Then” and ”Wicked” favorite is getting her act together and taking it on the road.

If/Then star Idina Menzel will embark on a world tour in 2015. The North American dates, ranging from July to October, were announced today. Further dates and other countries will be revealed in the coming weeks.

The tour will kick off July 7 at the Altria Theater in Richmond, Virginia. Future stops include the the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater on July 17, the Paramount Theatre in Seattle (August 5), the Starlight Theater in Missouri on August 12, the Fabulous Fox Theatre in Detroit on August 22, Tanglewood on August 29, and the Hollywood Bowl on October 3.

Menzel won a Tony Award for her role as Elphaba in Broadway's Wicked. Her other Broadway credits include Rent and Aida. She also starred in the role of Maureen Johnson in the 2005 film adaptation of Rent. She voiced the role of Elsa in Disney's Frozen and sang the Oscar-winning song "Let It Go." Her Christmas album, titled Holiday Wishes, was recently released.

UPDATED: Idina Menzel has announced UK and Ireland dates for her upcoming world tour, which will begin in Dublin on June 20, 2015. Stops include Birmingham's Symphony Hall on June 22, 2015, Manchester's Apollo on June 23, Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall on June 24, Bournemouth International Centre on June 26, and Wembley Arena in London on June 27, 2015.
