Michael Arden, Patrick Page, and More Record Hunchback of Notre Dame Cast Album

The recent coproduction of Paper Mill Playhouse and La Jolla Playhouse will come to CD.

The stars of the La Jolla Playhouse/Paper Mill Playhouse coproduction of The Hunchback of Notre Dame headed into the recording studio September 29-30 to preserve the show's score on disc. Produced by Ghostlight Records, the show's American-premiere studio cast recording will be available in January 2016 (not November 20, as previously announced).

The record will capture Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz's score backed by a 25-piece orchestra, a 32-member choir, and original stars Michael Arden (Quasimodo), Patrick Page (Dom Claude Frollo), Ciara Renée (Esmeralda), Andrew Samonsky (Captain Phoebus de Martin), and Erik Liberman (Clopin Trouillefou), alongside ensemble members Julian Decker, Mary Joe Duggan, Ian Patrick Gibb, Beth Kirkpatrick, Samantha Massell, Neal Mayer, Nora Menken, William Michals, Anise Ritchie, Vincent Rodriguez III, Richard Ruiz, Joseph J. Simeone, Jeremy Stolle, and Dashaun Young.
