Honest Accomplice Theatre, a new theater company launched by Maggie Keenan-Bolger and Rachel Sullivan, has announced its new advisory board. The members include Olivier Award-winning actor Gavin Creel (The Book of Mormon), six-time Tony-winning costume designer William Ivey Long (It Shoulda Been You), six-time Tony Award-winning Actress Audra McDonald (Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill), Tony Award-winning producer Greg Nobile (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Jujamcyn President Jordan Roth, and Tony-nominated composer Jeanine Tesori (Fun Home). Keenan-Bolger's siblings Celia and Andrew serve as the company's president and treasurer, respectively.

The new honorary board members will host a Kickstarter Launch Party for Honest Accomplice on Thursday, March 5, at the Antler Beer & Wine Dispensary (123 Allen Street) from 7-10pm. There is a $10 suggested donation for the event, which features drink specials, raffles, and prizes from the Muse Hotel, Bindle and Keep, 54 Below, and more.

The Kickstarter campaign will help fund Honest Accomplice's 2015-16 season, which is set to include a college tour of The Birds and the Bees: Unabridged, a sex-positive, LGBTQIA-inclusive look at female and trans sexuality in our society. The season will also include events for Queer Women and Trans People in the Performing Arts, a group hoping to increase the diversity of representations of queer women and trans people onstage. The company will also be conducting a survey of new work, which will appeal to individuals around the country to offer suggestions for their next theatrical endeavor.
