Allegiance Stars George Takei, Lea Salonga, and More to Perform at Lord & Taylor

Broadway's Allegiance is set to celebrate the holidays tonight with an appearance at the Lord & Taylor flagship store in Manhattan. The event will feature Tony winner Lea Salonga along with her costars Katie Rose Clarke and Aaron Albano performing the songs "With You," "Stronger Than Before," and "Higher." Cast member George Takei will also be on hand for a special appearance, and the event will offer fans the opportunity to win tickets to the show and win special prizes in addition to photo ops with the stars.
Inspired by childhood experiences of star Takei, Allegiance is set during the period of Japanese-American internment in World War II. The musical features a book by Marc Acito, with music and lyrics by Jay Kuo. Olivier Award nominee Stafford Arima directs. The Broadway production opened November 8 at the Longacre Theatre.
Joining Takei, Salonga, Clarke, and Albano in the company are Telly Leung, Michael K. Lee, Christopheren Nomura, Greg Watanabe, Belinda Allyn, Marcus Choi, Janelle Dote, Dan Horn, Owen Johnston, Darren Lee, Kevin Munhall, Manna Nichols, Autumn Ogawa, Rumi Oyama, Momoko Sugai, Sam Tanabe, Elena Wang, Scott Watanabe, and Scott Wise.
