An illustrious list of Tony Award winners will help the New York Pops celebrate its 32nd Birthday Gala on May 4 at Carnegie Hall. Conducted by Steven Reineke, the evening will honor Broadway siblings Kathleen Marshall (Living on Love) and Rob Marshall (Cabaret).

Leading the cast list are Tony winners Alan Cumming (directed by Rob in Cabaret), Sutton Foster (directed by Kathleen in Anything Goes), Donna Murphy (directed by Kathleen in Wonderful Town), and Bebe Neuwirth (choreographed by Rob in Damn Yankees), and Tony nominees Kelli O'Hara (directed by Kathleen in Nice Work If You Can Get It) and Rachel York (directed by Kathleen in the tour of Anything Goes). Additional artists will be announced at a later date.

The gala concert will also feature students from the New York Pops’ Kids On Stage program in their Carnegie Hall debuts performing alongside the orchestra musicians, the Ronald McDonald House Rockin’ the House Band and Singers, and Camp Broadway Kids, led by Artistic Director Tony Parise and Music Director Christine Riley. Following the concert, a black-tie dinner dance will be held at the Mandarin Oriental New York.

Kathleen Marshall received Tony Awards for her choreography of the Broadway revivals Wonderful Town, Anything Goes, and The Pajama Game, along with an additional six nominations for her work on Nice Work If You Can Get It and Kiss Me, Kate, among many others. She has also directed and choreographed film adaptations of The Music Man and Once Upon a Mattress, as well as the musical sequences for the film My Week With Marilyn.

Rob Marshall's films have won nine Academy Awards out of 23 nominations. He is the director of the recent film adaptation of Into the Woods, as well as the big-screen versions of Chicago and Memoirs of a Geisha. Onstage, he received six Tony nominations for his work on productions of Little Me, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Damn Yankees, She Loves Me, and Cabaret.
