The acclaimed theater troupe Elevator Repair Service will return to New York Theatre Workshop in the fall of 2015 to present the world premiere of a new play by Sibyl Kempson. Directed by John Collins, the play was commissioned in part by the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, and performed there in May 2013 under the title Fondly, Collette Richland. No title for the New York run has been announced.

This new drama is described as: "A couple is at home in Middle America. After a visit from a stranger, they are mysteriously summoned to an Alpen holiday. Soon after, while at a hotel with an extended circle of eccentric acquaintances, they are set upon by dark forces. They return home to find everything has changed."

A cast of 12 will be revealed in the coming months. The production features scenic and costume design by David Zinn, lighting design by Mark Barton, and sound design by Ben Williams.

Elevator Repair Service is a Company-at-Residence at New York Theatre Workshop, a title they've held since 2005. The off-Broadway mainstay has presented their works The Select, No Great Society, and The Sound and the Fury. ERS is perhaps best known for their marathon production of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, titled Gatz.
