Drama League Announces 2015 Directing Fellowship Recipients

Paul Bedard, Estefanía Fadul, Aneesha Kudtarkar, and more have been selected.

The Drama League has announced the stage directors who have been selected as the 2015 directing fellows of the Drama League Directors Project. In addition, an 11th fellow has been selected for a brand-new fellowship program, which will be revealed during the 81st Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony on May 15 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel Times Square.

The 2015 directing fellowship recipients are Paul Bedard, Estefanía Fadul, Aneesha Kudtarkar, Emily Lyon, Brad Raimondo, Austin Regan, Daniel Rogers, Annie Tippe, Sarah Wansley, and Brandon Woolf.

The fellowships will begin on May 11 with Drama League Professionals Week, where the fellows will meet industry luminaries, attend Broadway and off-Broadway productions, and start their developmental training. They will be publicly introduced during the 81st Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony.

The 11 recipients, who will spend the next year as part of the award-winning program, have been accepted into the New York Directing Program, the Hangar Directing Program (a partnership with the Hangar Theatre in Ithaca, New York), and the Classical Directing Program (a partnership with the Old Globe of San Diego; the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival of Garrison, New York; and Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts).
