Olivier Winner Denise Gough to Bring People, Places & Things to St. Ann's Warehouse

Duncan Macmillan's acclaimed play People, Places & Things will have its American premiere at St. Ann's Warehouse October 19-November 19.
Directed by Jeremy Herrin, the show is described as follows: "Emma is an actress who is having the time of her life. Now all that has changed. Now she’s in rehab. Her first step is to admit that she has a problem. But the problem isn’t with Emma, it’s with everything else. She needs to tell the truth. But she’s smart enough to know that there’s no such thing. When intoxication feels like the only way to survive the modern world, how can she ever sober up?"
Denise Gough, who originated the role of Emma and won an Oliver Award in 2016, will reprise her performance in the New York mounting. The work is a collaboration between St. Ann's Warehouse, the National Theatre, and Headlong, in association with Bryan Singer Productions.
Full casting and additional information about the St. Ann's Warehouse production will be announced in the coming months.
