Comedy Chameleon Christina Bianco to Star in New Comedy Application Pending

Greg Edwards and Andy Sandberg's Application Pending is a new comedy that will play at the Westside Theatre January 26-April 19 with an official opening on February 10. The production will star Drama Desk nominee Christina Bianco (Forbidden Broadway). Sandberg will direct.

Application Pending takes place in the cutthroat world of kindergarten admissions at New York private schools. Bianco will portray rookie admissions office Christine Evans as well as 40 other roles.

Bianco became a worldwide YouTube sensation with her diva impression videos. She recently made her London West End debut starring in the Menier Chocolate Factory’s production of Forbidden Broadway. In New York, Bianco starred off-Broadway in Newsical the Musical and Forbidden Broadway Goes to Rehab.

The production will feature scenic design by Colin McGurk, costume design by Tony Award nominee Michael McDonald (Hair), lighting design by Tony Award winner Jeff Croiter (Peter and the Starcatcher), and sound design by Bart Fasbender (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson).
