New York's Storm Theatre Company will kick off its fall 2014 season with the New York premiere of Robert Carroll's The Believers. Previews will start on September 26, with an opening night set for October 11 at the Theatre of the Church of Notre Dame. Stephen Logan Day directs.

The Believers takes place on the eve of the New York City Democratic Primary when Chris Connor, a brilliant young campaign manager, is getting slammed by dirty tricks from the opposition. Carroll has worked for numerous political candidates, and The Believers is inspired by these true-life experiences.

The cast includes Taylor Anthony Miller, Joe Danbusky, Ted McGuinness, Laura Bozzone, Christopher Bellant, and Pastrick Melville.

Set design is by Josh Iacovelli, costumes by Jennie West Alexander, lighting design by Michael Abrams, and sound design and original music by Matt Otto.
