Jim Parsons has had a change of heart. The Emmy winner, who is known for his work on The Big Bang Theory, has decided to give himself over to the almighty God (when he stars in the role in Broadway's An Act of God). But even Parsons shouldn't have to shoulder that kind of responsibility alone — which is where angels Michael and Gabriel come in.

An Act of God, which is set to open at Studio 54 on May 28, is seeking two angels to do God's heavy lifting (even though he could totally lift it himself, obvs). The casting breakdown is as follows:

GOD: CAST. [Jim Parsons] He is, well, God; all-knowing, all powerful and funny as hell.

MICHAEL: 30’s. An angel of God’s. Funny, impulsive, as irreverent as an angel of God’s can be.

GABRIEL. 40’s. An angel of God’s. By the books; no-nonsense.

An Act of God is inspired by the best-selling book The Last Testament: A Memoir by God, which is described as having been written by God and transcribed by Javerbaum, as well as by Javerbaum's Twitter feed The Tweet of God. Joe Mantello directs.
