Ben Platt, Barrett Wilbert Weed, and More Join Broadway Sings Sara Bareilles

Stars of ”Wicked”, ”Finding Neverland”, and other Broadway hits will perform the one-night-only concert.

Additional casting has been announced for the Broadway Sings Sara Bareilles concert, set for November 2 at the Highline Ballroom. The performance will include a company of 20 Broadway stars, including cast members from the American Repertory Theater's world-premiere production of Waitress, which features a score by Bareilles.

Ben Platt (Pitch Perfect), Barrett Wilbert Weed (Heathers), and Teal Wicks (Finding Neverland) join a cast previously announced to include Emily Afton (Hair), Alysha Deslorieux (Hamilton), Christine Dwyer (Wicked), Drew Gehling (Jersey Boys), Alexa Green (Wicked), Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland), Aaron LaVigne (Spider Man Turn Off the Dark), Douglas Lyons (Beautiful — The Carole King Musical), Addi McDaniel (The Fantasticks), Corey Mach (Godspell), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia!), Ben Thompson (Matilda The Musical), Alysha Umphress (On the Town), Jessica Keenan Wynn (Beautiful — The Carole King Musical), Natalie Weiss (Everyday Rapture), and the a cappella group RANGE.

The company will perform completely new arrangements of the singer-songwriter's greatest hits, including "Brave," "Love Song," "King of Anything," and "Gravity," accompanied by a string orchestra playing original orchestrations by Joshua Stephen Kartes.

Bareilles, a five-time Grammy nominee, makes her Broadway debut this March when Waitress comes to the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, starring Tony winner Jessie Mueller (Beautiful — The Carole King Musical) and directed by Tony winner Diane Paulus (Finding Neverland).
