The Broadway Flea Market Hits Shubert Alley Today

Get ready to dive through boxes of old programs and show T-shirts.

Today marks the 28th annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction, set to flood the newly renovated Times Square pedestrian plaza, Shubert Alley, and West 44th Street in the heart of New York City's Theater District from 10am-7pm.

Actors scheduled to take part in the Autograph Table and Photo Booth (11am-3pm at Junior's Restaurant) are Broadway couples Stephanie J. Block and Sebastian Arcelus, and Andy Karl and Orfeh; On the Town stars Tony Yazbeck, Clyde Alves, and Jay Armstrong Johnson; Aladdin cast members Adam Jacobs, James Monroe Iglehart, Courtney Reed, and Jonathan Freeman; as well as Kathleen Chalfant, David Hyde Pierce, Alice Ripley, and Patrick Wilson, and many others.

Up for auction are a variety of priceless experiences including walk-on roles in Broadway musicals Kinky Boots and Beautiful — The Carole King Musical, house seats and backstage visits to Aladdin and The Book of Mormon, show memorabilia signed by the likes of Elaine Stritch and Shirley MacLaine, meets-and-greets with Hugh Jackman and Idina Menzel, dinner with Donna McKechnie and Debra Monk, and a host of rare Barbra Streisand collectibles.

Silent auction lots will be opened every half hour from 10am-3:30pm. The live auction begins at 5pm. The Grand Auction, which includes the silent and live auctions, will be based in the Times Square pedestrian plaza between 43rd and 44th Streets.
