The 10th anniversary edition of the popular Broadway Backwards series will take place on Monday, March 9, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. The one-night-only event is produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and benefits BC/EFA and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center of New York.

To celebrate the landmark anniversary, the roster of stars includes several performers who have taken part in the concert over the past decade. The list includes Tony Award winners Len Cariou (Blue Bloods) and Brian Stokes Mitchell (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), as well as Broadway vets Florence Henderson (The Brady Bunch), Tony Yazbeck (On the Town), Tituss Burgess (The Little Mermaid), Julie Halston (You Can't Take It With You), Ann Harada (Brooklynite), Jackie Hoffman (On the Town), and Aaron Lazar (The Last Ship). Additional cast members will be announced.

Robert Bartley directs and choreographs the show, with Mary-Mitchell Campbell as music supervisor and Tim Rosser as music director. Adam Roberts serves as associate choreographer, with lighting design by Ryan O’Gara and costume design by Bernadette Banner.

Broadway Backwards is an annual celebration where gays and lesbians experience their stories as told through the great songs of musical theatre. Last year’s sold-out show raised a record-breaking $423,182 and featured a lineup of 51 performers from Broadway, film, and television.
