Emmy winner and Tony nominee Bobby Cannavale (Vinyl) will star in a revival of Eugene O'Neill's The Hairy Ape at the Park Avenue Armory in 2017.

Cannavale will take on the role of shipworker Yank in the drama, which will run March 25-April 22. Richard Jones will direct the production, which is copresented by the Armory and London's Old Vic, where Jones' staging premiered. It will feature scenic and costume design by Stewart Laing, lighting by Mimi Jordan Sherin, sound by Sarah Angliss, and choreography by Aletta Collins. Further casting will be announced.

The Armory's season will also include Julian Rosefeldt’s Manifesto, a cinematic installation featuring Cate Blanchett presented on screens throughout the venue's drill hall (December 7-January 8); Robert Lepage's exploration of Canadian history Kanata, presented by Ariane Mnouchkine's Théâtre du Soleil (December 5-19, 2017); and various other productions.
