Tony nominee Beth Malone — star of the 2015 Tony-winning musical Fun Home — will perform her one-woman show Beth Malone: So Far at Joe's Pub on August 31 at 7:30pm.

The show is described as follows: "Follow this adorably insane little lesbian as she takes you on a journey from Castle Rock, Colorado, to the South Pacific. From little girl crushes to grown-woman heartbreak. Join us for comedy, tragedy, and a crush on Connie Chung."

Written by Malone and Patricia Cotter, Beth Malone: So Far is directed by Peter Schneider, with musical direction by Susan Draus.

Malone can currently be seen in the role of Alison in Fun Home at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre — a role she took on during the show's previous incarnations at the Sundance Theatre Lab and the critically acclaimed run at the Public Theater. In 2014 she starred as Molly Brown in the world premiere of a wholly reimagined version of The Unsinkable Molly Brown, directed by Kathleen Marshall, at the Denver Center. Malone's other original Broadway and off-Broadway credits include June Carter Cash in Ring of Fire, Betty Jean in The Marvelous Wonderettes, and Alison in Bingo!

Beth Malone: So Far is produced by LezCab, a nonprofit theatre company devoted to creating an accurate and meaningful representation of queer women in order to foster equality and community. LezCab is led by artistic director Rachel Kunstadt. Malone serves on the company's honorary board.
