Disney on Broadway Gives a Behind-the-Scenes Presentation at the New York Public Library

New York Public Library for the Performing Arts will present Behind the Scenes With Disney on Broadway on December 1. Celebrating 20 years of Disney on Broadway, this program reveals the process that takes beloved Disney stories from idea to full life on the Broadway stage.

The conversation will feature David Henry Hwang, book writer of Tarzan and Aida, Chad Beguelin, book writer of Aladdin, and Rick Elice, book writer of Peter and the Starcatcher. The event is free, and tickets are now available online.

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts houses an extensive combination of circulating, reference, and rare archival collections. These materials are available free of charge, along with a wide range of special programs, including exhibitions, seminars, and performances.
