She was clearly in a mood to reminisce, later Tweeting this image:

Ripley played the role of Violet Hilton in the Henry Krieger-Bill Russell musical when it first played New York in 1997. The role is inherited by Erin Davie in the new production, which is revised and directed by Bill Condon. Emily Padgett takes on the character of Violet's conjoined twin Daisy, originated by Emily Skinner.

Side Show, which follows the Hilton sisters as they struggle to make a life for themselves as they perform on the vaudeville circuit, opens on Broadway on November 17 following runs at the La Jolla Playhouse and The Kennedy Center.
