James Monroe Iglehart, best known for his Tony-winning portrayal of Genie in Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway, is set to make his 54 Below debut with How the Heck Did I Get Here? The one-night event will take place May 4.

In the show, Iglehart relives his obsession with being cool, getting girls, and a becoming a star all while performing tunes that range from R&B and hip-hop to gospel and Broadway (and maybe a country tune).

In addition to Aladdin, James Monroe Iglehart has appeared on Broadway in Memphis and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Iglehart has also made appearances on television series such as Gotham and Smash.

54 Below is a performance venue and nightclub just below the legendary Studio 54. The venue provides a food and beverage menu and world-class entertainment on the stage.
