Pam MacKinnon's new Broadway revival of Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance celebrated its opening night at the John Golden Theatre on November 20. Leading the cast is three-time Tony-winner Glenn Close, who returns to Broadway for the first time in two decades, alongside John Lithgow, Lindsay Duncan, Martha Plimpton, Bob Balaban, and Clare Higgins.

Following the show, Lithgow, Close, and Balaban took some time to remember their friend, the late director Mike Nichols, who visited them backstage only 10 days before he died on November 19. Following funny and tearful eulogies, the six-member company said goodbye to the entertainment industry legend with a chorus of "Happy Trails" as the curtain came down.
