Broadway-Themed Window Designs at Macy’s Kick Off "Greetings From Broadway" Tribute, March 27

Macy’s Herald Square and the League of American Theatres and Producers have announced a weeklong tribute to the spring theater season entitled “Greetings From Broadway.”

The tribute is intended as a special salute to theater fans, and it will begin with a special window unveiling at Macy’s at 3pm on Thursday, March 27. The venerable store’s Broadway windows will feature costumes, props, and other memorabilia from several current shows. Scheduled to be present at the unveiling will be stars Sutton Foster (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Molly Ringwald (Enchanted April), Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio (Man of La Mancha), Ernie Sabella (Man of La Mancha), Yakov Smirnoff (As Long As We Both Shall Laugh), and Linda Hart (Hairspray). Macy’s will also host afternoon performances of excerpts from Broadway shows, Tuesday, April 1 through Friday, April 4, on the main floor of the store by the fragrance arcade; for schedule information, call 212-494-2442.
