Five-time Tony Award nominee John McMartin will play Georgia Senator Richard Russell in the upcoming Broadway production of Robert Schenkkan's political drama All the Way. With Emmy-winning Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston as President Lyndon B. Johnson, the drama begins previews February 10 at the Neil Simon Theatre, with an opening night set for March 6.

McMartin was most recently seen in Manhattan Theatre Club's off-Broadway production of The Explorers' Club. His stage credits also include Grey Gardens, Into the Woods, High Society, Sweet Charity, Show Boat, and Follies, among many others. Senator Richard Russell was a leader of the Southern opposition to the civil rights movement, serving nearly 40 years in office from 1933-1971.

As previously announced, All The Way will be directed by Bill Rauch and costar Michael McKean as J. Edgar Hoover, Brandon J. Dirden as Martin Luther King, Jr., and Rob Campbell as Governor George Wallace. Additional casting will be announced in the coming days.

The production features set design by Christopher Acebo, costume design by Deborah M. Dryden, lighting design by Jane Cox, composition and sound design by Paul James Prendergast, and video projections by Shawn Sagady. The projection design consultant is Wendall K. Harrington.
