The Ensemblist Spends the Holidays on Broadway With a Two-Part Video Bonus

Members of the ”Annie” and ”Chicago” ensembles answer questions from loyal ”Ensemblist” podcast listeners.

Nikka Graff Lanzarone and Mo Brady, Broadway alums and cocreators of The Ensemblist podcast, have released part one of their two-part holiday bonus video feature to close out their year of backstage Broadway interviews. As was announced last week, following the release of their final podcast of 2013 — a supersized, 40-minute episode where performers answered questions from listeners — the Broadway pair promised a two-part video blog that takes fans behind the scenes, showing them how that final 40-minute installment was put together.

Featured in this first video are interviews with Annie's "Star to Be" Shina Ann Morris, and Ryan Worsing of the Chicago ensemble, both of whom offer aspiring performers a few tips to take into the audition room. Part two of the video bonus will be released on December 30 and will feature Andy Richardson, who currently plays Crutchie in Newsies, and Lauren Molina of Broadway's Rock of Ages, as well as the scantily clad musical group The Skivvies.
