Chéri, a new dance theater piece directed and choreographed by Martha Clarke from the 1920 French novel by Colette, celebrated its opening night at Signature Center off-Broadway. Featuring American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Herman Cornejo and retired ballerina Alessandra Ferri, the production also stars Academy Award nominee Amy Irving, and pianist Sarah Rothenberg, with text by Tina Howe.
