Daniel Jenkins and Todd Almond Complete the Cast of Sarah Ruhl's Stage Kiss at Playwrights Horizons

The new play is led by Jessica Hecht and Dominic Fumusa.

Tony Award nominee Daniel Jenkins (Mary Poppins) and actor/writer Todd Almond (The Tempest) will complete the cast of Sarah Ruhl's Stage Kiss at Playwrights Horizons, the organization has announced.

Ruhl's newest play follows two actors (played by Jessica Hecht and Dominic Fumusa) who share a romantic history as they appear in a forgotten 1930s melodrama that starts following the pair home. Directed by Rebecca Taichman, the company also includes Clea Alsip, Michael Cyril Creighton, Emma Galvin, and Patrick Kerr. Stage Kiss begins previews February 7, with an opening set for March 2.

Additionally, Playwrights Horizons has also announced casting for Kirk Lynn's Your Mother's Copy of the Kama Sutra, set to begin performances March 28, with an opening night set for April 21. Featured in Anne Kauffman's production are Maxx Brawer, Zoë Sophia Garcia, Rebecca Henderson, Will Pullen, Chris Stack, and Sarah Sutherland.
