Broadway veterans Cass Morgan and Michael X. Martin have joined the cast of the upcoming Broadway production of Jason Robert Brown and Marsha Norman's new musical, The Bridges of Madison County. The pair takes on the roles of Marge and Charlie, which they originated this past summer at Williamstown Theatre Festival. Additional casting is still to be announced.
Morgan has been seen on Broadway in Memphis, Mary Poppins, and Pump Boys and Dinettes. Martin's credits include Broadway's Nice Work If You Can Get It, Catch Me If You Can, and Curtains, among others.
With a score by Brown and a book by Norman, The Bridges of Madison County is based on the bestselling novel by Robert James Waller and directed by Bartlett Sher. Previews begin January 17 at the Schoenfeld Theatre, with an opening set for February 20.
