Tony Award Winner Michael Cerveris, Krysta Rodriguez, Taylor Trensch, and More Join Joe Iconis Christmas Spectacular

Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris (Evita), Krysta Rodriguez (The Addams Family), Taylor Trensch (Bare), Julia Mattison (Godspell) and more have joined the cast of Drama Desk nominee Joe Iconis’ 5th Annual Christmas Spectacular, which will play at 8PM and 11PM on December 14 and 15 at Broadway concert venue 54 Below.

The holiday hoedown, starring composer/singer Iconis and his “merry band of musical theater punks”, will feature new and old holiday songs, tiny elves, and an inebriated Mr. and Mrs. Claus in what is described as an “insane celebration of all things red and green.” The event is directed by John Simpkins.

The rotating cast of guest performers is as follows: Susan Blackwell, Liz Lark Brown, Michael Cerveris (Saturday at 11), Bill Coyne, Kristen da Costa, Katrina Rose Dideriksen, Jenny Donoghue, Badia Farha (Friday at 8 & 11), Alexandra Ferrara, Annie Golden, Molly Hager, Jeremy Jordan (Saturday at 11), Ian Kagey, Kimberly Kaye (Saturday at 11), Jessica Kent, MK Lawson, Rachel Lee, Lorinda Lisitza, Lauren Marcus, Julia Mattison, Eric William Morris, Jeremy Morse, Ray Munoz, Mike Pettry, Ashley Rodbro, Krysta Rodriguez (Saturday at 8 & 11), Rob Rokicki, Will Roland, Lance Rubin, Katie Schorr, A.J. Shively, Jordan Stanley, Rachel Sussman, Ashley Sweetman, Jason Tam, Taylor Trensch (Friday & Saturday at 11), Jared Weiss, Jason “SweetTooth” Williams, and Ross Wolkenbrod.

Iconis penned the Drama Desk Award nominated musical Bloodsong of Love. Additional credits include The Black Suits, ReWrite, and The Plant that Ate Dirty Socks. His theatrical concert Things to Ruin is currently available on Ghostlight Records.
